Built for small fabrication and cabinet shops

Countertop fabrication software that follows every job from template to install

SlabTrack is countertop fabrication software for small countertop and cabinet shops that tracks every job from measure and template through fabrication, install and punch list. The office, the shop floor and the install crew all see the same board, and your customers check their own status link instead of calling.

14 days free, no card. Plans from $19 a month for the whole shop.

Countertop job tracking, one kitchen at a time

The Whitaker kitchen, from template Tuesday to a closed punch list

  1. Tuesday

    Template

Your templater digitizes the Whitaker kitchen and taps Done. The card slides into Fabrication without anyone walking to the office.

  2. Thursday

    Cut and polish

The floor lead sees the Whitaker tops are next, cuts the slab, and moves the job to Ready to install.

  3. Friday

    Customer checks in

Dana opens the link you texted her and sees Monday's install date. No phone call.

  4. Monday

    Install

The crew gets the address, the gate code and the sink model on their phone, sets the tops, and taps Done.

  5. Wednesday

    Punch list

A chipped corner on the island gets logged on site with a name on it. The job closes when it's fixed.

Template to install tracking

A job board laid out the way a countertop job moves

Seven stages, each with someone who moves the job on. Marking a template, fabrication or install done moves the card for you.

  1. 01

    Measure

    The office

Create the job with the customer, the address and the material. Book the measure.

  2. 02

    Template

    The office

Book the template date and who's going. When it's marked done the job moves to fabrication by itself.

  3. 03

    Fabrication

    The shop

The floor lead sees what's next to cut and polish, and marks fabrication done when the tops are ready.

  4. 04

    Ready to install

    The shop

Finished pieces wait here until the install date. Nobody has to ask whether the slab is cut.

  5. 05

    Install

    The crew

The installer opens the job on a phone: address, gate code, sink model, notes. One tap marks it installed.

  6. 06

    Punch list

    Anyone

A chipped edge or a missing filler strip gets logged on the spot and assigned, and the job stays open until it's fixed.

  7. 07

    Done

    Automatic

When the install is done and the last punch item is fixed, the job closes itself.

Customer install status link

Text the homeowner a link instead of a date you'll have to change

Every job gets a private link. The customer sees which stage their kitchen is in and the dates you've booked for the template and the install, on any phone, with no login. When the date moves, the link already shows it.

  • Shows the name, the job type, the stage and the scheduled dates. Nothing else.
  • Never shows the site address, the gate code or your install notes.
  • Replace a link with one click if it gets forwarded around.

Installer phone view and shop logins

The office, the shop floor and the crew each see their part

The office

Creates jobs, books measures, templates and installs, assigns the crew, and texts the customer their link.

The shop floor

Sees every job and the week's schedule, and marks templates and fabrication done as the work finishes.

The install crew

Sees only their own jobs on a phone, with the address and the notes, and marks the install done on site.

Punch list tracking is built in: anyone on the job logs a fix-it item, assigns it, and the job stays open until it's fixed. No more chipped corners forgotten in a text thread.

Before you try it

What happens between the template and the install?

SlabTrack is countertop fabrication software for exactly that stretch: every granite, quartz and solid surface job from measure and template through fabrication, install and punch list on one board. It doesn't run your saw or draw your templates; it keeps track of where each job is and who has it next.

Does it do countertop scheduling?

Yes. Book the measure, template, fabrication and install dates for each job, assign them to someone, and see the whole week on one calendar. Anything scheduled before today and not marked done shows as overdue.

Can a cabinet shop use it?

Yes. Each job is countertop, cabinet, or both, and moves through the same stages. Cabinet shops that measure, build in the shop and send a crew to install use it as simple cabinet shop management software for the schedule and the punch list.

Does it draw templates or do estimates?

No. Keep using your digitizer, your layout software and your quoting spreadsheet. SlabTrack tracks the job around that work, so nobody has to walk the shop to find out whether a template is done.

What does my customer see?

A private link you text or email them. It shows their name, the job type, which stage the kitchen is in and the scheduled dates. It never shows the site address or your install notes, so a forwarded link can't leak a gate code. You can replace the link at any time.

What does an installer see on their phone?

With the Crew plan, each installer gets a login that shows only the jobs with a milestone assigned to them, with the address (tap for directions), the install notes and a button to mark the install done. They can log punch items from the driveway.

How is it different from bigger fabrication shop systems?

The big systems do far more (drawing, estimating, inventory) and are priced per user with a minimum, which often lands at several hundred dollars a month. SlabTrack does the job board, the schedule, the crew's phone view and the customer link, from $19 a month for the whole shop.

How do I try it?

Create an account and use it free for 14 days, no card needed. When the two weeks are up, choose Solo, Shop or Crew from the Billing page; if you don't, nothing is deleted and you can still open and export every job.

Next week's installs

Your open jobs, on one screen by Friday

Add the open jobs, book the templates and installs, and send each customer their link. It takes about as long as cleaning the whiteboard.
